Doggy Dog Days
1. The photo I took for "Through Lela's Eyes" is a picture of my dog, Nala. I chose to take this photo because I wanted to try something new, having a plain background. I also wanted to focus on one of my favorite animals for "Through Lela's Eyes". I combined these two ideas to make a simple yet compelling photo.
2. While in Photoshop, I changed the color of the background from white to teal to create contrast between the color of the wall and my dog. I added a painting looking filter onto my dog to bring out the shadows and highlights of their fur and body in a different way. This painting filter not only looks cool but provides more contrast from the dog and the background. With these two contrast elements it helps the dog stand out a lot more.
