Playing in Snow
1. My idea for this project was to print out my photo on tissue paper then use a combination of glue and water to apply it to a piece of canvas. I scratched off the edges of the tissues paper to give the final piece a different look of how the photo was matted. I then used an old photo paper box to wrap the piece of canvas with the photo around to give the displayed image an offset from the wall. I also wanted to try a different way besides matting to finalize the photo.
2. Some successes that faced with this was getting the photo printed on the tissue paper 1st time with no smears or rips in the paper. I also was successful in applying the photo to the canvas. Although some of the photo is bit crumpled, it actually made the photo look pretty good and worked with the photo and its style. One struggle that I faced was aligning the canvas and attaching it to the photo box. It took me many times to get it attached and aligned the way I wanted. Once I got it gone it worked out, but it took many attempts.
